Unearth a Story with the Brontosauruses! (Kids ages 3 through 5).
Join other Brontosauruses for fun each Monday during summer reading!
This program is for children ages 3-5 and their caregivers and will be held in the storyroom and craft area of the Children's Department of the Library. We'll explore human culture and history in the realm of Archaeology during June. Take a week to celebrate our country's 250th anniversary the week of June 29th-July 2nd, and then discover dinosaurs and other extinct creatures that once roamed this Earth in our Paleontology themed programs during the month of July.
Registration IS required for these programs and will be limited to the first twenty children to be registered. You can registered by clicking on the "Register Now Button" and filling in the required information. You cannot register for the whole summer at one time and registration does not open until June 1st for the very first Brontosaurus program. Please, be ready to register for the next week's program after each program ends. If you have registered and find that you cannot attend, please call or email us so that we can let someone else have your spot for the day.
Summer will be here before you know it, so make plans to stop by the Library to learn some new things while having lots of fun! See ya' soon!
**Remember: If your little one is taking part in the Summer Reading Challenge, count the storytime reading minutes also! Anytime you read to your little one or listen to a book, those minutes count toward their reading goal of 200 minutes! Make sure you record those minutes in their reading account each day so that they have a chance at a prize at the end of our summer reading programs!
