Role-Playing Games: More Than Entertainment

Join us at the library this October 2 for an enlightening talk on the diverse world of role-playing games (RPGs). Discover RPGs that appeal to all ages and genders, including the exciting realm of educational games (edularps). This interactive session will showcase the wide-reaching potential of RPGs to foster creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Explore how RPGs can be transformative and educational, and how you can enjoy them both personally and professionally. The presenter will also share insights into their own game designs, including her newest literacy-based educational RPG. Whether you're a veteran player or just curious, come see how RPGs can be a fun and valuable experience for everyone! No experience necessary, just bring your curiosity.

This program is for teens and adults. Registration is encouraged.
