Wild Wanderers: Mount Rushmore
Come join us for Adventure Begins at Your Library! Wild Wanderers is our summer reading program for 6-11 year old kids. We'll meet in the Community Room in the Library at 2 PM every Wednesday afternoon for some awesome live, virtual visits from a ranger at a National Park, fun crafts, and STEM activities.
This program will be limited to 30 children and requires registration which will open a little more than a week before the event. This year, you can register for each Wednesday that you'd like to attend, but only for the next week's upcoming program. You cannot register for the whole summer this year because in the past, some people registered for the whole summer and did not attend the events they registered for. This took a spot away from someone who may have wanted to attend the event. If for some reason you have registered and cannot attend, please drop us a phone call or email to let us know so that someone else can have your spot for the day.
As always, our programs are free and open to the public, but parents must remain in the library with their children for the entire program. Parents are also welcome to sit in on the virtual park visit with us! See you soon!
