Star Gaze, IFL and Yellow Creek State Park
Come and see the stars at Yellow Creek State Park! As part of our 2020 IFL Kids Summer Reading program, we thought that we should hold another star gazing event at Yellow Creek to go with our Mythology and the Stars program. As the Storytellers already know, in order to participate, you will need a smartphone with data capabilities and a Star App that has been downloaded from Google Play (The best star apps are Star Walk 2 and Sky View Lite). We will meet at the Lake View Pavilion in the Day Use Area at 8 PM. You may bring blankets or chairs to sit on, but keep in mind that according to COVID-19 regulations, we will need to social distance and wear masks unless age 2 or younger or have a medical condition that is affected by wearing a mask. The program is also weather dependent. We also ask that you please register for the event so that we know how many to expect for the evening. Let's wind down summer reading in a fun way!
