Come join us in the library for a fun STEM PLAY Day on Saturday, May 10th!!
We'll have lots of engineering, electricity, robotics, coding, and building kits for all ages to explore and play with during our event. All ages are welcome to attend although most kits are appropriate for kids 6-11 years old with a few activities for younger children. The little ones will meet in the children's department storyroom and craft area between noon and 3 PM to explore the easy coding robots and building kits that the library has in our collection. Older children, 6-11 can meet in the A/V area on the first floor during the same time and choose which activities to participate in. Parents and guardians are permitted to participate too, as they must stay with their children during their time in the library (And you never know when the big people might discover something new!).
We prefer that you register for the event, but it is not required. If you're out and about in town for the day, please, feel free to stop in and play for a while! As always, our event is free and open to the public.
