  • Wednesdays at 3:00
Lauri will walk you through a weekly craft from start to finish using materials that you could find around your house. The videos will be posted to the timeline if you need to source materials and you can watch at your leisure.

  • Culture is defined as “The sum total of the learned behavior of any given society.” This is a great definition for Mr. Kocher’s high school World Cultures class that it came from, but for the purposes of this program, it will also mean how we experience culture in our own community, tapping into the rich talents within our own town. Libraries are a hub of culture in any community.
Join in as we explore topics such as music, painting, theater, languages, story-telling, history, crafts, poetry, pottery, film watching and making, and any other aspect of culture that we can include.

  • Checkers TV is a weekly educational entertainment program featuring Checkers the Inventor, his robot sidekick, Snoozer, and a variety of special visitors including medical professionals, community leaders, police and fire men and women, and other special guests in highly-produced 30 minute episodes. Each weekly episode also includes segments featuring storytelling, author interviews, art projects, science experiments, interactive games, contests, comedy, magic, and exciting short films that will have children on the edge of their seats.

  • A Fun, interactive, online learning solution for children ages 3 to 6. Kindergarten readiness that helps preschoolers develop knowledge and confidence. Access anywhere, anytime--on the computer or mobile devices, with printable supplements for offline fun. This program is available for free. A library card is needed for full access.
