Indiana Free Library, Children's Department

Wear your outdoor clothes and come join your friends at the library for a celebration of our Earth in this program for kids aged Birth through 17. We'll learn how to pot flower seeds to take home with you to grow. Besides those, we'll plant a few in a garden for all to enjoy. While we wait for those to sprout, decorate your pots with a colorful flower you made in our Earth Day craft time. A special guest will be with us to tell us how to take care of our Earth by keeping it clean, conserving valuable resources, and looking out for our animal friends. There is no registration for this program and it is open and free to the public. All materials for the flower planting and craft will be provided. Just bring yourself and your kids and be prepared to get a little dirty today!
