We here at IFL are hoping that you take part in our annual Gingerbread House Contest and Display!! Our contest starts on December 8th and runs until December 17th upon which a winner will be chosen at 4 PM from three different age groups. We'll have age categories of:

4-7 year old
8-12 year old
and Teens.

Register your house at the Main Circulation Desk when you bring it to the library. A librarian will carefully place your gingerbread creation in the correct age group on the display table. Our library patrons will then choose the three winners by voting for their favorite houses over the course of nine days.

You may drop-off your gingerbread house anytime after 10 AM on December 8th, but remember! Each day you wait to drop off your house means missed votes. Plan to get your house here on the 8th so that you can get a maximum number of votes for your creation!

If you are a winner in one of those categories, we will notify you Wednesday, December 17th at 4 PM and you will have from 4 -9 PM on Wednesday and 10 AM- 6 PM on Thursday, December 18th to pick up your prize. We will also be open to pick up your prize on:

Saturday, December 20th from 10 AM-5 PM
Monday, December 22 from 10 AM- 9 PM
Tuesday, December 23rd from 10 AM-6 PM.

Remember the main idea behind our contest is to have fun this holiday season! We also wish everyone good luck and happy building!

***Please Note: We would like everyone who competes in the contest to pick up their houses by Tuesday, December 23rd so that your little gingerbread houses aren't sitting in a dark, lonely library over Christmas!

How Can You Access and Correct Your Information? You may request access to all your personally identifiable information that we collect online and maintain in our database by emailing us using the contact form provided to you within the site structure of our website.
Do We Disclose Information to Outside Parties? We may provide aggregate information about our customers, sales, website traffic patterns and related website information to our affiliates or reputable third parties, but this information will not include personally identifying data, except as otherwise provided in this privacy policy.
