Evening For The Stacks

For my part I know nothing with any certainty but the sight of the stars makes me dream.

Thank you to our many supporters who keep the library going. It is a resource for so many at this time. Our annual Evening in the Stacks usually gathers a great crowd and is a wonderful event with great food, beverages, music, and with all of you. Now, to be safe, we have moved to an online environment as with so many of our programs. Please participate as you are able and thank you for your continued support.

We are having a Silent Auction for many of the items you may find at our event. The Auction will launch on October 19th, see photographs of all items here. You may also view the items live in the 2nd Floor Community Room if you schedule an appointment during our Grab N Go hours. Touching the items is not permitted and masks must be worn at all times within the library. All bids will be placed online and will conclude on October 28th, with pick-ups for winners scheduled on October 30th, the annual night for our event.

We have wonderful items for your review including artwork, thematic baskets, gift certificates, a special Jimmy Stewart collection, a unique Steelers offering, and so many more. Please contact the library if you need assistance with online bidding.

Thank you for your continued support and enjoy our alternate event!

We are still offering Gold and Silver Stars, but rather than display them in the library unseen, they will be displayed here on the website where they can be viewed by all. Donors will also receive, by mail, an ornament with the names on the star to hang in your home for the season.
