Library cards for ALL!

How to get a library card

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Indiana Free Library is offering cards to all residents of Indiana County to the end of the 2020 year.

This card normally bears a fee of $25 per year for families beyond the Indiana School district, which is our normal service area.  The free cards will be good for two-years!  The last day to apply is December 31st, 2020.

This card will give free access to all of the library materials currently offered through the Grab ‘n Go service and all of the digital materials available through the website.  Please take advantage of this free offer for the support your family needs and stay safe.

Children may also request a card if their parents have a library card. Parents are responsible for activity on their child's card until they are 18, as this is considered a financial transaction.

Please email reference@indianafreelibrary.org the following information to set up your card.

  • Name
  • Address
  • Phone number
  • Birthdate
  • A copy of your driver’s license.  You can either take a photo (with your phone) or scan your driver’s license and attach it to the email.
