There are still a few spaces left for our Speech, Hearing, and Language Development Family Place Workshop on Tuesday, November 12th at 10:30 am.
The topic for the day is Speech, Hearing, and Language Development and our Speaker for the morning will be Naomi Campbell, IUP Senior in Early Childhood Education.
We will be hosting Family Place Library Workshops once a week from November 5th through December 3rd and they will take place here in the IFL Children’s Department on Tuesday mornings at 10:30 (One Wednesday).
Each week, we will have a specialist or professional from our community to come in and talk and demonstrate ideas to parents about how they can help their children learn different skills, language, and abilities through play and exploration.
The workshops are for parents and their children ages 1 through 3. Parents and kids can learn through play together at the many different stations we have set up in the children’s department. Your child MUST be at least 1 year old to participate and registration is required.
For more information, please check out our website at www.indianafreelibrary.org and register your child online. You do NOT need register for all of them. Just for the ones you can attend.
If you have any questions, please ask Barb or Val at the desk, call 724-465-8841 x 6, or drop us an email iflkidsfun@gmail.com and we can help you with registration or anything else you may need.
