Wild Wanderers: US Historical Parks: Independence Hall

Come join us for Adventure Begins at Your Library! Wild Wanderers is our summer reading program for 6-11 year old kids. We'll meet in the Community Room in the Library at 2 PM every Wednesday afternoon for some an awesome live, virtual visit from a ranger at a National Park, fun crafts, and STEM activities. This program will be limited to 25 children and requires registration which will open a week before the event. This year, you can register for each Wednesday that you'd like to attend, one at a time one week before the program. Please note that registration will close at 1 AM the morning of the event to give us time to prepare for the number of participants we have for the day. If for some reason you cannot attend, drop us a phone call or email to let us know so that someone else can have your spot for the day. As always, our programs are free and open to the public, but parents must remain in the library with their children for the entire program. Parents are also welcome to sit in on the virtual park visit with us! See you soon!

This program will be limited to 30 children and requires registration which will open a little more than a week before the event. This year, you can register for each Wednesday that you'd like to attend, but only for the next week's upcoming program. You cannot register for the whole summer this year because in the past, some people registered for the whole summer and did not attend the events they registered for. This took a spot away from someone who may have wanted to attend the event. If for some reason you have registered and cannot attend, please drop us a phone call or email to let us know so that someone else can have your spot for the day.

**PLEASE NOTE**All of our children's programming requires parents to remain in the activity room or area with their children during the programs. This means that:
*During programs that are held in the children's department, parents must stay in the children's department.
* If programs are held upstairs in the library's community room (Wild Wanderers, Full STEAM Ahead), parents must stay in the community room.
* If the program is held outside of the library(Stories, Songs, and S'mores, StarWalk, & Wrap-Up Party) please remain in the area with your children.

There is plenty of seating in our activity areas available for parents to sit in on the programs with their children. Please do not leave your child(ren) unattended in the library or other areas because library staff are not responsible for unattended children at any time. Thank you for your understanding on this issue.

Employee Access, Training and Expectations -- Our organization values, ethical standards, policies and practices are committed to the protection of user information. In general, our business practices limit employee access to confidential information, and limit the use and disclosure of such information to authorized persons, processes and transactions.
  10. How Can You Access and Correct Your Information? You may request access to all your personally identifiable information that we collect online and maintain in our database by emailing us using the contact form provided to you within the site structure of our website.
