Cruise Into Kindergarten is a program for those children aged 3-4 who are getting ready to go to school for the first time! Even if your child is in preschool, you can take part in our program and help your child learn skills they'll need at school and at home. The program includes a set of sixteen activity cards that you will need to pick up at the library. Each one has a different activity, craft, rhymes, and recommended reading for the day and range in themes such as Letters and Numbers, Doing the Laundry, and Taking a Walk, among many others. If you are interested in the program, please go into "News and Events." then to "Calendar Events." Starting on September 21st, you will see IFL 2020 Cruise Into Kindergarten. Click on the program and then, the "Register Button" and fill in your information. You will then be notified when you can come in and pick up your activity cards. If you have any questions, please email Val at email@example.com. Let's have fun learning and getting ready for Kindergarten!
Our very first Cruise into Kindergarten! Today we will cover our introduction and read a story about a little girl who goes to kindergarten and discovers the fun things there. The book is by Jacqueline Rogers and is titled, Tiptoe into Kindergarten. Scholastic Inc. makes the book available for us.We will also make a paper tree whose leaves are starting to turn for the arrival of fall next week!
