Code Br@ve

Open the door to the future! Join us for a program that offers innovative whole group activities that build teamwork and communication, and tutorials in which students learn and practice computer coding.
Code Brave – a free virtual coding program, open to 6th to 12th graders, is offered by the Indiana Free Library in collaboration with the American Association of University Women.

  • Learn how to create an animation on a computer screen.
  • Challenge yourself and have fun.
  • Develop perseverance, creativity and expression, and thinking and reasoning.

The 4-week program is offered on Thursdays, 3:45 pm to 5:00 pm: February 11, 18, 25, and March 1.

Are you interested in becoming a future mentor for our coding club?  Join our pilot program to learn about coding, facilitating future club meetings, and helping build a community of young coders.

Mentors will need to provide copies of their clearances to work with children. This includes the Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance and Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check
