 oled children aged 6-11. In our Discovery of Learning Homeschoolers Club\,
  we’ll read and talk about different subjects (Science\, technology\, lang
 uages\, the arts\, cultures\, nature\, history\, literature\, etc.)\, lear
 n how to research these subjects using library and internet resources\, le
 arn digital skills on various devices\, and we'll provide instruction and 
 materials for a thought-provoking experiment\, craft\, or art project to g
 o with each week’s theme. \n\nChildren will have use of STEM Kits\, librar
 y materials\, internet computers\, Chrome Books\, and library resources. T
 hey will be instructed how to use all of these to help with their homework
  and other projects. Our DOL program will start at 2 PM and last approxima
 tely one hour. As always\, our programs are free and open to the public an
 d no registration is required for this program.\n\n**Once each month\, on 
 the third Wednesday\, our Homeschooler's Club will meet in the Library's K
 itchen Room for Kids Can Cook! Our cooking and baking class for our homesc
 hooler's club. Parents must remain with their children and can even partic
 ipate in the day's recipe if they want!\n \n\n**PLEASE NOTE that this prog
 ram is geared for children aged 6 through 11 years old. Younger siblings c
 an sit in on the program\, but all activities and programs are planned for
  older children (Especially the cooking club). If you have a younger child
  who is pre-school or kindergarten age\, we have an early education librar
 y program called Curious Kids Library Time on Thursday mornings at 11 AM.
