X-WR-CALDESC:Today is our third and last Summer Safety Workshop for parents
  and children 3 to 6 years old (Younger and older siblings are welcome to 
 attend). Each Workshop will start at 11 AM and last approximately one hour
 . The program for each day will be as follows:\n\n       *We'll have a sho
 rt storytime with an appropriate story read by the librarian.\n       *A 2
 0 minute presentation from a representative from a local organization deal
 ing with summer safety with an informal question and answer session afterw
 ards. Each representative will also have brochures and other information o
 n hand to share with parents.\n        *There will be an easy craft or act
 ivity and materials provided for the children that is related to the topic
  of the day.\n        *Snacks and refreshments during the program.\n      
   *The library will provide a LibGuide with information on the materials w
 e have at the library that deals with these specific summer safety topics.
 \n\nOur workshops are free and open to the public\, but registration is re
 quired for these programs.\n\nStop in and learn a little about local organ
 izations that can help you and your kids stay safe this summer!\n
