X-WR-CALDESC:Today is our first Summer Safety Workshop for parents and chil
 dren 3 to 6 years old (Younger and older siblings are welcome to attend). 
 Each Workshop will start at 11 AM and last approximately one hour. The pro
 gram for each day will be as follows:\n\n       *We'll have a short storyt
 ime with an appropriate story read by the librarian.\n       *A 20 minute 
 presentation from a representative from a local organization dealing with 
 summer safety with an informal question and answer session afterwards. Eac
 h representative will also have brochures and other information on hand to
  share with parents.\n        *There will be an easy craft or activity and
  materials provided for the children that is related to the topic of the d
 ay.\n        *Snacks and refreshments during the program.\n        *The li
 brary will provide a LibGuide with information on the materials we have at
  the library that deals with these specific summer safety topics.\n\nOur w
 orkshops are free and open to the public\, but registration is required fo
 r these programs.\n\nStop in and learn a little about local organizations 
 that can help you and your kids stay safe this summer!\n
