X-WR-CALDESC:Join us for a weekly Wednesday children’s program for homescho
 olers aged 6-11. In our Discovery of Learning Homeschoolers Club\, we’ll r
 ead and talk about different subjects (Science\, technology\, languages\, 
 the arts\, cultures\, nature\, history\, literature\, etc.)\, learn how to
  research these subjects using library and internet resources\, learn digi
 tal skills on various devices\, and we'll provide instruction and material
 s for a thought-provoking experiment\, craft\, or art project to go with e
 ach week’s theme. \n\nChildren will have use of STEM Kits\, library materi
 als\, internet computers\, Chrome Books\, and library resources. They will
  be instructed how to use all of these to help with their homework and oth
 er projects. Our DOL program will start at 2 PM and last approximately one
  hour. As always\, our programs are free and open to the public and no reg
 istration is required for this program although it is recommended in case 
 of weather-related or other reasons for program cancellation.\n\n**Once ea
 ch month\, on the third Wednesday\, our Homeschooler's Club will meet in t
 he Library's Kitchen Room for Kids Can Cook! Our cooking and baking class 
 for our homeschooler's club. Parents must remain with their children and c
 an even participate in the day's recipe if they want! This special program
  DOES require registration as it is limited to the first ten kids to regis
 ter. \n \n\n**PLEASE NOTE that this program is geared for kids aged 6 thro
 ugh 11 years old. Younger siblings can sit in on the program\, but all act
 ivities and programs are planned for older children (Especially the cookin
 g club). If you have a younger child who is pre-school or kindergarten age
 \, we have an early education library program called Storytime at the Hen 
 House on Thursday mornings at 10:30 AM.
