 ibrary will be having a Read Across America Challenge during the entire mo
 nth of March! Yes! All 31 days of March\, read to win prizes at the end of
  the month. Count your reading minutes and enter them on the website readi
 ng log to have a chance at gift cards\, new books\, and new library swag! 
 There are no minimum reading requirements and we will pick two winners fro
 m each category who read the most during the whole month. The categories w
 ill be:\n\n              Cats in Hats--Kids ages birth-2 years old\n      
         Things 1--Children 3-5 years old\n              Things 2--Kids 6-1
 1 years old\n       and Teen Reading Loungers--12-18 years old\n\n**Please
  look for the Read Across America tab on the website under the 'Programs &
  Events' section. You will have to register in order to add your minutes o
 nto the reading log. If you don't have access to the internet or have trou
 ble logging in your minutes\, please check with one of the children's depa
 rtment librarians and they can help you keep track of your reading time.\n
 \nWe will choose and notify the winners of the challenge on Tuesday\, Apri
 l 1st (Yes\, April Fool's Day!). \n\nLet's experience new things together 
 through reading\, discover famous people\, travel to exciting places\, wor
 k on a spaceship\, and fight dragons...Anything is possible when you crack
  open a book!\n\nPLEASE NOTE** Registration for  this event will be availa
 ble starting February 18th so\, yes\, you can register early for the readi
 ng challenge. However\, the Reading Log will NOT BE ACTIVE until March 1st
  at midnight. Please save reading log questions until the log is active an
 d we will help you if there are any problems.  A link to Registration and 
 the Reading Log will be posted here on the Event Calendar under the Read A
 cross America Reading Challenge Headline and also in the Programs and Even
