 ovember 19th\, 2024. The program will run from 10:30 to 11:30 AM at the In
 diana Free Library. \n\nThere are two main goals of the Parent Child Works
 hop.  \n\n1) The first is to provide a setting in which you and your child
  can play and learn together\, free from the interruptions of daily life. 
 To facilitate this\, our storyroom and craft areas will be transformed int
 o three different activity areas:\n\nThe Art Exploration Area provides han
 ds-on art materials for your child.  These activities are designed to enco
 urage children and parents to explore and play with these various material
 s\, rather than to create final product.   \n\nThe Toy Stations include: i
 nfant toys\, books\, puzzles\, blocks\, transportation toys\, musical inst
 ruments\, puppets\, a play kitchen\, and more! The toys are purposely divi
 ded into stations to set up an environment of child-directed play. *Please
  note: Our AWE Learning Computers and Crayon Kiosk iPads will be unavailab
 le for play during the workshop.\n\nThe Resource Material Area contains li
 brary materials and free handouts. Different aspects of parenting will be 
 featured each week. Included in this area are board books\, picture books\
 , and parenting materials to check out for you and your little one.\n\n2) 
 The second goal is to introduce parents to community resource specialists 
 who will provide you with information on different aspects of parenting an
 d child development.  If you have any specific questions or concerns\, thi
 s is a great opportunity to talk in an informal and confidential manner.
