**Full STEAM Ahead is for children between the ages of 8 and 11. Younger c
hildren may find the daily activity too difficult for them to complete. Th
e goals of each program are to help kids learn how to follow instructions
and then let them attempt to complete the activity or craft by themselves
while only giving assistance when needed. If you are looking for a program
with an activity for younger children\, please check out our Wild Wandere
rs program at 2 PM on Wednesdays or our Saturday self-directed programs-Th

tween the hours of 1-3 PM.\n\n**ALSO**All of our children's programming re
quires parents to remain in the activity room or area with their children
during the programs. This means that: \n *During prog
rams that are held in the children's department\, parents must stay in the
children's department.\n * If programs are held upst
airs in the library's community room (Wild Wanderers\, Full STEAM Ahead)\,
parents must stay in the community room.\n * If the
program is held outside of the library(Stories\, Songs\, and S'mores\, Sta
rWalk\, & Wrap-Up Party) please remain in the area with your children. \n
\nThere is plenty of seating in our activity areas available for parents t
o sit in on the programs with their children. Please do not leave your chi

not responsible for unattended children at any time. Thank you for your u
