 y conversations is to increase our understanding of the principles of DEI 
 with a focus on social justice issues as well as enable us to build suppor
 t and connections in our community. The promotion of DEI is an initiative 
 of AAUW (American Association of University Women)\, the American Library 
 Association\, and LWV (League of Women Voters.)\n\nCommunity organizations
  and individuals including middle school and high school students\, colleg
 e students\, parents\, and community members are welcome to participate in
  the book group meetings.\n\nBook group participants may choose to read ei
 ther of the two books noted below. The books are aligned and organized int
 o the same five sections. \n•	Stamped: Racism\, Antiracism and You\; Author
  Jason Reynolds\n•	Stamped from the Beginning: The Definitive History of Ra
 cist Ideas in America\; Author Ibram X. Kendi\n\nMultiple copies of both b
 ooks are available to borrow from public libraries and organizations throu
 ghout Indiana County. The books were purchased with grant funding from the
  League of Women Voters of Pennsylvania. \n\nSection 1: 1415-1728\; Cotton
