Creation Kids – “Animal Homes”

Our young children will enjoy our stories and songs about the homes animals build.  We will start by hearing about a goose who looks for a place to build a nest in Silly Little Goose by Nancy Tafuri then continue the fun with a turtle rhyme.  Asking children questions helps build vocabulary, promotes brain development, and lays the foundation for reading success.  (Birth through 3 years old)

Creation Kids – “Building a House”

“This is bear’s house, and this is the key, open the door, and what do you see?” So begins our guided tour of a cozy home in our featured book Bear At Home.  The fun continues as we create our own house through songs, action rhymes, a favorite children’s tale told on a flannel board, and a craft.  This program will expose children to five activities that help in the development of reading success: read, talk, sing, write, and play. (Birth through 3 years old)
