Cruise Into Kindergarten – Taking A Walk

How did you get to the Library today?  Did you walk, take the bus, or come in a car?  Jonathan and his mother take a daily walk through their neighborhood and we will join them as we read Jonathan and His Mommy by Irene Smalls-Hector. Then we will explore many different forms of transportation through stories, songs, and activities. For children ages 3-5.

Toddler Tales – Moon & Stars

Our featured book Polar Bear Night follows a polar bear cub on a moonlit journey through a starlit world.  This beautiful story teaches an important literacy skill – the sequence of the story.  The cub wakes inside her den, sets out on a magical journey, and returns home to mother bear.  The fun continues with several action songs, movement rhymes, and a star craft. Especially for children ages 2-3.
