Family Place

Families with children from birth to 5 years old are welcome to join us in the Children’s Department for an informal program where adults can meet and socialize while children play with educational toys and STEM building materials. The program will conclude as we gather in a circle to hear stories and sing songs.

Book Babies – Bunnies

Our books, action songs, and movement exercises, features young rabbits jumping, running, and hopping.  The stories and rhymes shared during this program will feature two basic math skills, pattern and sequence. Especially for children from birth to 24 months.

Cruise Into Kindergarten – Bubbles, Bubbles

Observing bubbles is a great way to get children interested in science and our stories, songs, and activities will nurture this natural curiosity. Our preschoolers will love today’s humorous story, Bubble Bath Pirates!  For children ages 3-5.
