Creation Kids – “All Around our Town”

Plenty of books, songs, and action rhymes about vehicles are featured in today’s program. The Bus For Us by Suzanne Bloom will introduce our young audience to a variety of vehicles using simple text and clearly drawn illustrations. We will roll our arms and clap our hands as we drive a firetruck, train, and bus before moving to the craft table to continue the fun. (Birth through 3 years old)

Construction Crew “Building Our Home”

We have learned about tools, trucks, and construction sites so now we are ready to put our skills to good use.  Our special book Building a House by Jonathan Bean shows us how a family builds their home from the ground up.  We will learn some new words such as foundation, frame, and beam.  Exposing children to new vocabulary words introduced in books is important for reading comprehension.
