We will see what happens when everyone in the family forgets to put important items on Mom’s shopping list in our book Put It on the List.  Helping your family select items at the grocery store is fun and teaches several important skills such as organizing and recording the items needs on a paper list then locating and paying for them at the store.  We will explore this subject through books, action rhymes and a special activity. Children who have positive experiences with books enjoy reading throughout their lives.  Our playful book Pots and Pans by Patricia Hubbell shows children having fun in the kitchen with pots and pans.  Our songs and finger games, including “Pat-a-cake” and “Muffin Man” will make this program more exciting.
