True Story Book Club

Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption

On a May day, in the middle of World War II, an Army Air Forces B-24 Liberator crashed into the Pacific Ocean and sank, leaving only a trail of debris, oil, and blood.  Then, one survivor appeared on the surface and swan to a life raft. He did not know it at the time, but Louis Zamperini was only at the beginning of an arduous journey to return home. Books available fat Desk for program. Refreshments served.
